Il Giardino Segreto offers the opportunity of a peaceful and relaxing stay in an area rich in cultural and natural itineraries (the Renaissance buildings of Pienza, the square with the Cathedral, the museo Diocesano, the Pieve di Corsignano, the nearby towns of Montepulciano, S Quirico and Montalcino and the small villages of Bagno Vignoni, Monticchiello together with the Parco Naturalistico della Val d'Orcia), old historical traditions and typical flavours of the tuscan cooking.
All the rooms, three flats and two double rooms, look onto the garden. They have mantained the original structure and characteristics of the old Tuscan houses: tile floors, original wooden beams, large fireplaces, furniture in the simple and functional tuscan style.
The garden includes areas with different particularities. It is possible to distinguish two different areas in the garden: "il giardino della luna" (the garden of the moon) a shadier, more appropriate area for reading, rest and meditation, "il giardino del sole" (the garden of the sun) sunnier and brighter.

  Apartment Il Melograno: The apartment is large and sunny, just like the plant it is named after. It is situated on the first floor of the building. A few windows open onto the garden on one side, on the other one they overlook a lovely, inner courtyard. It has a comfortable livingmroom with equipped kitchenette (cooking area, fridge and TV) two double rooms, one of which can be changed into a twin bedded room with an extra bed on request, shower room, independent heating. |
  Apartment Il Corbezzolo: It is a large apartment, set apart from the rest of the building, which goes into the garden by a few steps just in front of the plant which gives its name to the apartment. It has a living room with kitchenette (cooking area, fridge and TV); two double rooms which can be changed into two twin-bedded rooms on request, an extra bed can be added too; shower-room, independent heating. |
  Apartment Il Biancospino: It is a cosy and lovely apartment, like the plant it is named after: the howthorn; it opens directly into the garden. It has a doubleroom, a shower room and a large living room with fully equipped kitchenette (cooking area, fridge and TV). The living room has a large and old fireplace at the guests' disposal; independent heating. |
  Apartment La Serra: It is a lovely studio apartment, furnished in a fresh and simple style, characterized by a typical mezzanine floor with a double bed connected by an inner staircase. The small living room downstairs looks onto the garden through a French window. It has fridge and cooking area with electric cookers. Shower room and independent heating. |
  Room La Pervinca: The bedroom on the first floor, just like the flower it is named after looks for light, enjoys a sunny and beautiful sight of the garden. It is fresh and comfortable, with a large anti-chamber where to enjoy breakfast, relax or simply have room for an extra bed. It has a shower room, independent heating, TV, fridge and is equipped with all the necessary for a self service breakfast (electric kettle and food for a continental breakfast are provided). |
  Room Il Ciclamino: The atmosphere of the bedroom reminds to the flower: the cyclamen, it is named after. It is a shadowed and secluded bedroom which looks onto the garden. A comfortable double room which may be turned into a twin bedded room on request. It has a shower-room, independent heating, TV and fridge, it is equipped to have a self service breakfast (electric kettle, food and drinks for a continental breakfast are provided). |
Deposit of 30% of the total amount at the moment of booking. On request weekly or midweekly cleaning. Price added bed: 10 euro a day.
