The Fornacina Country House, is a a nineteenth century farm, situated in Saturnia, in Maremma, in the South of Tuscany, among the mild hills and the Mediterranean bush, only a few minutes far from the Thermal baths of Saturnia. Saturnia Terme is the heart of a large, marvellous land that embrace all kind of topographicale typology: hills, thermal baths, sea, beachesand and incontaminated isles, the mountain with its natural parks, medieval villages, archeological sites, intact rural realities! Bike, trekking and horse are valid alternatives to discover this ancient and magic land.
The Fornacina Country House, thanks to its ecological philosophy offers a set of accommodation and well-being services (massages, sauna, spa), with particular attention to energy saving. But the true comfort is to live the slow and involving rhythm of country life...
The house consists of 6 rooms with private bathroom, all personalized and pleasantly coloured, some with the fireplace, but every of them with some special peculiarity, no one with TV. The biological cooking is the product of the fantasy of Layla, the owner, combined with the tradition of the Maremma, is a laboratory of ideas where the biological products of the garden combine with the home-made pasta, the game bird, the farmer's cheeses and the wood stove give you crisp bread, savory pizzas, biscuits and cakes. In summertime the equipped and shady swimming pool (6x14 metres) offers the right refreshment and the magic and sweet-smelling (especially during the nights in summer) garden has a lot of beautiful corners that are waiting only to be discovered.

  Magnolia: Green-coloured, the colour of the chakra of the heart, the fourth, this comfortable room. In summertime refreshes with its mint-coloured reflections and in winter it warms with the burning fireplace helping you to relax yourselves and disappearing the accumulated stress. |
  Bamboo: Yellow sparkling-coloured, the colour fo the sun, the chakra of the personality, the third. To sleep in its great poster bed recharge and regenerate.   Salice: The room connected to the fifth chakra, the bluo colour, to communicate, to let yourself go. On the first floor, with view on the swimming pool, the biggest room of the house, with its bathroom, the most appropriate for long stays. |
  Melarosa: The red-coloured room, the well-being room, first and second chakra, the room of the passio, but also the well-being room because of its magnificent bed, completely natural and with biomagnetic device. |
Single additional charge: in double room 30%. Pets additional charge: contribution for adjunctive cleaning 5-10 euro according to the size. Added bed: children from 3 to 12 years,
25 euro, adults 35 euro.
Home cooking: biological cooking with genuine and typical of the Maremma products: 30 euro a person/ a meal, 15 euro for children till 12 years.
Check in: after 3.00 pm. Check out: within 11.00 am. overnight service for arrivals later than 9.00 pm, we request 15 euro. Stay later than the check out: 50 euros until 6.00
